(UPDATES) The Battle for Hill

As voters prepare for the QLD State Election the seat of Hill is shaping as safe seat for the seating member Shane Knuth.

Knuth holds the seat with a massive 19.7% majority and commands strong grass roots support within his electorate.

18:49 The first figures are in for Hill and as expected sitting member Shane Knuth is polling well.

20:24   It appear as expected that sitting member Shane Knuth will be returned as the member for Hill.

With almost 11,000 votes counted, Knuth sits 3000 votes ahead of ALP candidate Michael Hodgkins.

Nick Cuda LNP currently sits 3500 votes adrift of Knuth.
