Australian country artists Lee Kernaghan, Max Jackson and Nick Wolfe will perform at the event alongside local musicians the Katie Richards Band, Candice Bliss, Whiskey, Raconteurs and DJ Nipper Brown.

The afternoon and evening of live music will give fans a preview of the Savannah atmosphere ahead of the main festival, which runs in Mareeba from 8-11 October.

Savannah in the Round Festival Director James Dein said the Warm Up Party would bring the festival community together ahead of October.

“This is all about getting everyone into the Savannah spirit before October rolls around,” Mr Dein said.

“Whether you’re already heading to the festival or just love live country music, it’s a fantastic afternoon out with some incredible artists in an iconic North Queensland pub.”

The Official Savannah in the Round Warm Up Party will run from 3pm to 11pm at the Mountain View Hotel, Gillies Range Road, Little Mulgrave.

Tickets are $50 each, with return coach transfers from Cairns available for $35. Organisers said tickets were strictly limited and urged fans to book early.

The warm-up event precedes Savannah in the Round’s return to the Mareeba Rodeo Arena from 8-11 October 2026.
