VIP air force visitors
CAIRNS Airport is currently playing host to the Singapore Air Force.

Late this morning an A330 tanker landed followed by four F16 fighter jets.
All are parked on the tarmac at the Cairns International Airport.
Also due this afternoon is a C-130 while another surprise visitor about 12.25pm was a Chinook helicopter which was spotted flying over the city into the airport.
It is not known why they are here and the Cairns Airport would not comment.
It is understood they are staying overnight and will fly out tomorrow, presumably to Singapore.
More information was being sought.
