The exhibition is being held at the Port Douglas Community Hall on Mowbray St and will run daily from 9.30am to 5pm until Thursday 28 May. Organisers say the exhibition features 350 artworks created locally by 47 exhibiting artists, showcasing a wide range of styles, media and local subject matter.

The display includes technically detailed botanicals, acrylic paintings, watercolours, sketches and drawings of local buildings and scenery, along with pottery, glasswork, mosaics, and mixed-media pieces.

Among the featured works are “Coconuts”, a watercolour by Colin Price, clay dogs and glass work by Sue Berthelsen and artworks by Mandy Johnson, Tammy Millar and Louise Bannon displayed throughout the venue.
