Tigers rule the jungle

NORTH Cairns Tigers are back-to-back winners in the AFL Cairns senior women’s grand final after a dominating win over Centrals Trinity Beach.

They were victorious 7.3 (45) to 0.6 (6).

Player-coach Luana Healey bagged two goals, while skipper Alinta Batten kicked one of her own.

The Bulldogs’ Jasmine Bowe, Luca Roulstone and Grave Frost did their best against Tigers.

Norths were undefeated throughout the year with a percentage of 620.99.

They scored 1124 points in the home and away season, almost 200 more than Centrals.
