Thyme for fresh outlook
THYME Lifestyle Resort Palm Cove has officially welcomed its first homeowners, celebrating the opening of its over-50s lifestyle community in the Kewarra Beach area between Cairns and Port Douglas.
Homeowners Pauline Bryan and Carol James were warmly welcomed by the Thyme Lifestyle Resort team in a milestone moment for the community.
“We are thrilled to welcome our first homeowners into our new community, which will eventually comprise of 368 homes, where they can enjoy security and the best of coastal living in an unrivalled location,” said sales consultant Michelle Fitzjohn.
Thyme Lifestyle Resorts is redefining over-50s living in the region with high-quality, low-maintenance homes designed to blend naturally with the landscape and reflect the relaxed coastal feel of the area.
Both women moved closer to family and say they couldn’t be happier with the quality of workmanship in their thoughtfully-appointed new homes.
Over 50s community living is new to Ms James and the move up from Melbourne was a big one, but she’s enjoying the weather of tropical Far North Queensland and the peace of mind that comes with being closer to family.
“At this stage of my life, Thyme Palm Cove offers me an amazing home to live in, the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends,” she said.
“Also, most importantly, safety and security living inside a community with a secure, gated entry.”
Ms Bryan came from another over-50s community but is excited about everything the new location has to offer, surprising herself at how easily she has settled into her new home.
“I am looking forward to meeting people and enjoying the facilities once they are up and running,” she said.
“I have been surprised at how easily I have settled into my new home. My new home means that I can enjoy everything that the Thyme Palm Cove lifestyle offers ... I am very happy with everything and I look forward to many happy years being close to family and with new friends.”
