Thawing frozen hearts
ST MARY’S Catholic College students are preparing to bring Disney’s Frozen Jr. to the stage, with more than 2600 tickets already sold for the upcoming production.

Students have spent months rehearsing throughout the year in preparation for the performances, with fewer than 250 tickets remaining across all shows.
Strong demand has prompted the college to add a Saturday matinee performance at 4pm on Saturday 29 August.
The production will open on Wednesday 26 August, running from 7pm to 8.15pm, followed by a school performance on Thursday 27 August from 9am to 10.15am
The newly added Saturday matinee will run from 4pm to 5.15pm on Saturday 29 August, followed by the final performance from 7pm to 8.15pm that evening.
Musical producer Eloise Harnett said the cast and crew were ready to present the production to the community after months of preparation.
“Our students have been rehearsing all year to create an unforgettable theatrical experience,” she said.
The production will involve the St Mary’s Catholic College community and students from seven primary schools, who will attend daytime performances.
Evening performances will be open to the general public.
The college will also hold a full-dress rehearsal on Tuesday 25 August, ahead of opening night.
The production is presented by St Mary’s Catholic College students and strong early ticket sales have left limited availability for the remaining performances at the Hugh O’Brien Centre.
With fewer than 250 tickets left, the additional Saturday matinee will offer another chance for the community to see the students’ production before the final performance on Saturday night.
