Riding high on their global success, the vocal group promises a celebration of Irish culture, music, and spirit with their contemporary and theatrical performance.

They will also bring on the classics like ‘Danny Boy’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, ‘The Parting Glass’, and ‘Wild Rover’ sung in beautiful five-part harmony.

“Irish music is all about enjoyment, letting loose, leaving any sort of worries at the door, and just coming in and having a nice night of escapism,” founder and group member Raymond Walsh said.

“We wanted to bring that authentic taste of Ireland. We want people to feel in a theatre as if they could be in a bar in Galway.”

Together with Raymond, the Tenors are younger brother Jack Walsh, Jimmy Johnston, Matthew Campbell and newest and youngest member of the group, Nathan Johnston.

Each member brings something special to the group. Raymond, originally from Belfast, trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting and has worked extensively on stage. He is well known for his portrayal of Grantaire in Les Misérables.

He recently produced and co-directed their debut TV special on BBC and PBS, which was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award.

Younger brother Jack Walsh has a degree from the New York Film Academy and produces and co-produces material for the group.

Jimmy Johnston from Larne, on Northern Ireland’s world-renowned Antrim coast, originally trained in classical singing, but his real loves are country and Irish music. Along the way, he began Irish dancing with his sister and went on to become a champion Irish dancer.

Matthew Campbell studied music at Queen’s University Belfast and his masters focused on musical theatre in Northern Ireland. He is also arranger, musical director multi-instrumentalist, and avid sound engineer.

Newest member, Nathan Johnston, joins his big brother Jimmy, as vocalist and musician coming from a long line of Johnston musicians.

The group recently took home a couple of Emmys when they won at the regional Emmy Awards in Detroit for their special Shamrock Tenors: Live From Belfast.

They’ve had a string of sold-out performances across the UK, including Belfast’s Grand Opera House, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and a showstopping set before 20,000 fans at London’s Trafalgar Square.

They will be at CPAC on Tuesday, August 26. Tickets at https://bit.ly/4lzay60
