Stronger taste of flavours at brewery with touch of biff
LIVE pro-wrestling will take over the Cairns waterfront later this weekend when Hemingway’s Brewery Cairns Wharf hosts its first-ever wrestling event.

On Saturday 28 February 2026, the brewery is teaming up with Pro Wrestling Power Cairns (PWP) to deliver Brewery Bash, a free, family-friendly evening of live pro wrestling, craft beer and entertainment.
The event will run from 4.30pm to 7pm at Hemingway’s Brewery, Cairns Wharf, with free general entry. VIP tables are available for $80 per table of four, which includes a first drink per person.
Brewery Bash will feature local wrestling talent, including Rage Kelly, Vida Loca, Greenstone and Ricky Soho, competing ringside against the backdrop of the Cairns waterfront.
“The Brewery Bash isn’t just a wrestling event, it’s part theatre, part sport and 100% high-impact entertainment,” says promoter Roman Haslinger.
“It’s the first time we’ve brought live wrestling into the brewery, and we’re excited to give locals and visitors a chance to experience something completely different right here in Cairns.”
Pro Wrestling Power Cairns is an independent wrestling promoter staging matches across the region.
Events feature theatrical entrances, rivalries and athletic bouts aimed at a broad audience.
The event marks the first time live pro wrestling has been staged at the venue, bringing a new style of entertainment to the waterfront.
Organisers say the free entry format is designed to attract both locals and visitors for an early evening showcase of sport and performance.
The final stop will be at Neil Stewart Park in Townsville on Saturday 21 February from 3.30pm to 5pm.
