Strikers reward their members

REDLYNCH Strikers United Football Club celebrated its 2025 senior presentation night, recognising the dedication and achievements of players, coaches and supporters across the club.

Christian Cook was named senior coach of the year for his “inspiring leadership and unwavering commitment to the team”, while club person of the year went to Theola Bell for “outstanding service, support and heart across the club”.

On the field, male player of the year was awarded to Ersen Nina, with female players of the year jointly awarded to Emily Carless and Caitlyn Bell for “exceptional performances, teamwork and dedication to coaching”.

Ms Carless and Ms Bell also received the RSUFC recognition award for representing the club at state and national levels.

In the division 2 FQPL men’s awards, James Adams was named most valuable player, Ethan Moore most improved player and Mitch Neils most consistent player.

For the U23 men, Lochlan Kick-Peters won most valuable player, Jack Macalister most improved player and Travis Beckman received the coaches award.

The premier men’s awards went to Charlton Junna (most valuable player), Matthew Young (best team player) and Brett Dillon (most consistent player).

In the premier women’s awards, Astia Neckebroeck won most valuable player, Caitlyn Dunstan best team player and Lara Bennett most consistent player.

Top scorers were recognised with golden boot awards, won by Ali Crowe (men) and Alexis Carless (women). Goalkeepers Seamus Casey and Imogen Bennett received golden gloves awards for their performances.

A special mention went to supporters Pat and Lyn Davey, recipients of the supporters award, for their “unwavering dedication, loud cheers and constant presence” that lifted the club’s spirit throughout the season.

RSUFC thanked players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters for making the 2025 season and presentation night memorable. The club looks forward to building on its success in 2026.
