BLITZ Tennis, based in Edmonton will receive a new 9-seater vehicle to transport young tennis players to and from training and events.

The new 9-seater vehicle will be officially presented to the BLITZ tennis club this weekend at a special “sponsors day” event at the courts.

Aramex Cairns Regional Franchisee Josh Bollman says the business is proud to be supporting the BLITZ Tennis Club and local players.

“It’s so important to stay active and community sport is such a wonderful thing for kids to be involved in.

“Local tennis coach Guy Thomas goes above and beyond not only coaching but also transporting kids of various ages to and from training as many local parents do not have the time or capacity to do so themselves.

“Without Guy’s personal time and effort, many of these kids probably wouldn’t have the opportunity to play tennis.”

“Aramex Cairns looks forward to officially handing the vehicle over to Guy and the kids this Saturday at our special “sponsors day.

“We have a fun day planned for the Blitz Tennis community. The Aramex Cairns team are keen to get out on the courts and play some tennis with the kids and their families. There will be some giveaways and a BBQ as well.”

Guy Thomas was thankful for the support from Aramex Cairns and says the vehicle will greatly assist the young players.

“BLITZ Tennis Club is so grateful for the generous support of Aramex Cairns. This new vehicle will help local kids attend tennis coaching and events.

“It also makes it possible for our young tennis players to attend tournaments in different locations and compete in regional competitions. We thank Aramex Cairns for their support which makes it possible for kids to enjoy this wonderful sport and for some an opportunity to one day fulfil their dreams of playing for Australia.”
