Having already won the Division One Pennant to qualify for a crack at the State 2020 Pennant in Cleveland Club in Brisbane on November 7 & 8, 2020.
Edge Hill proved it’s overall strength on Saturday October 24 with both Edge Hill 2nd Division teams qualifying for the Finals this weekend.
A win against Brothers Edmonton 54-25 in Section 1 with Section 2 winning 70-20 against Innisfail / Babinda. Saturday October 31, will see Edge Hill (1) play Edge Hill (2) at Brothers Edmonton (Fuller Sports Venue).
Club members able to support your club should attend. Teams in Section One are D. Curry B. Moseley, J. Straatsma & B. Sloper with team 2 G. Royle, N. Beitzel, G. Medhurst & John Hayes.
Section Two team 1 is P. Ryan, J. Parker, R. Wilson, H. Mitchell. Team 2 is P. Whitehead, C. Whyte, K. Mitchell, M. Smith. Finals will begin at 9:00am Saturday October 31, with Section 1 and 2 playing each other.
The loser will play Section 3 team Gordonvale/Cairns at 1:00pm. Final game will be played on Sunday November 1, with the winner of 1 /2 game playing Section 3. To play social bowls at Edge Hill put your name on the lists available for a game and have a chance to win a Jackpot Tuesday $620+ and Saturday $1000.
