Edge Hill Bowls Report Friday Nov 20
Ladies Social Bowls: First week of night bowls on November 12 had 14 people enjoy the cooler evening, so come down for a game this Thursday November 19 to see night bowls again for the Ladies Mixed Social Bowls. Names in by 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
Men’s Mixed Social Bowls: Tuesday November 10 winners were Jim Muir and Jim Ryan. Runner up: Lars Wollin and Bruce Moseley. Tuesday Night Bowls winners were Rod / Peter and John. Runner up: Elaine / Robert and Gov.
Wednesday November 11 night winners were Terry and Wayne. Runner up: George / Don and Janet.
Mixed Social Bowls were played on Saturday November 14, winners were Jim Muir and Bruce Moseley. Runner up: Geoff Royle and Bob White.
Saturday $1000 Jackpot was won by Monica Steel and Ian Stafford. The new Jackpot will start at $254.
Club Championship Games. Club Triples winners this week were Alan, Chris and Steve Henson defeating Geoff Royle, Felix Klose and Darren Curry 23-11. Championship Pairs Final was won by Steve Henson and Colin Kelly defeating John Straatsma and Brenton Sloper 21 -14.
Consistency Singles Semi Final saw Steve Henson defeat Darren Curry 103-57.
Mixed Pairs Semi Final was won by Jill Alexander and George Burnett defeating Jenny and Terry Bartholomousz 18-16.
