The club confirmed the appointments this week, thanking members who attended the AGM and acknowledging the volunteers who continue to support the club and its wider community through their time, skills and commitment.

Scott Burness has been appointed president for 2026, with Jodi Mauro named vice president. Sharon Bluett will serve as treasurer and Melissa McFadden as secretary. Tamara Blore has been appointed registrar.

The football operations and technical roles will be led by Conan Berry as technical director and Tobias Schneck in football operations. Celeste Mergard has been named game day coordinator, while Simone Lukies will oversee social media and events.

Shane Moon has been appointed community partnerships lead, with Renae Marano named club safety officer. Dana Wilson will serve as women’s ambassador.

The general committee for 2026 includes Gordon Cashmere, George Busutill, Glen Reveleigh, Darren Nelson, Rob Murchie, Lorenzo Morelin, Chris McFadden, John Cruthers and Rob Dwyer.

The club paid tribute to outgoing president Shane Moon.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to outgoing president Shane Moon for his leadership, dedication and significant contribution to the club during his term,” the club said.

Acknowledgement was also given to committee members who will not be returning in 2026, with the club noting their behind-the-scenes work and the role they played in strengthening the organisation.

The club encouraged members and supporters to congratulate the incoming committee and to recognise the efforts of both past and present volunteers.

With the committee now confirmed, Edge Hill United Football Club said it was looking ahead to the 2026 season and the continued involvement of volunteers across all areas of the club.
