Sleek theatre on show
A NEW circus production will bring acrobatics, comedy and aerial performances to Cairns during the school holidays.

Cirque Nouvelle is scheduled to perform at Cairns Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 11 July, as part of a Queensland tour.
The family-friendly production features an Australian-based cast alongside international performers, combining circus acts with storytelling in a show designed for audiences of all ages.
Co-producer Rebecca Capener said the production aimed to deliver a live entertainment experience for families during the holiday period. According to promotional material, Cirque Nouvelle brings together acrobatics, comedy, aerial artistry and immersive storytelling in a contemporary circus format.
The show is touring Queensland in July and Cairns is one of the scheduled stops.
Ms Capener said the production celebrated “creativity, joy and the magic of live performance”. The Cairns performance coincides with the school holiday period, with organisers expecting strong interest from local families looking for entertainment options.
Cirque Nouvelle is produced by Rebecca Capener and James Capener through Cameo Rascale Entertainment.
The Cairns show forms part of the company’s wider Queensland tour, bringing the production to audiences across the state during the school holiday season.
