Singer shares ‘True Colours’
RECORDING artist Justin Wellington will take to the stage at BAR36, The Reef Hotel Casino, on 27 and 28 August as part of the venue’s 30-year celebrations and the Cairns Super Carnival festivities.
He will debut his new single ‘True Colors’ alongside guest vocalist Myra Imani, linking the new release to the Super Carnival’s “Colours” theme.
The casino’s celebrations begin with a pre-party on Friday 21 August, featuring Coconut Kiss and Deluxe from 7pm, and continue with free live entertainment after the races on 22, 28 and 29 August.
Coconut Kiss, featuring vocalist Nikki Doll, will bring its tropical sound to the program, while Cairns party band Deluxe will perform dancefloor favourites and summer pop tracks. DJs will also perform at BAR36 throughout the celebrations.
Racegoers will be able to use a free bus service between The Reef Hotel Casino and Cannon Park on 22, 28 and 29 August.
Buses will depart the casino for Cannon Park at 10.15am, 10.45am, 11.15am and 11.45am, with return services departing Cannon Park at 5pm, 5.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm.
The Super Carnival entertainment will run from 7pm on 21 and 22 August and from 6pm on 28 and 29 August, with the casino’s Flinders Bar & Grill, Sports Arena and Soy Kitchen also operating during the festivities.
As part of The Reef Hotel Casino’s wider 30-year celebrations, Cairns band Fingerprint will also perform at BAR36 from 8pm on Wednesday 19 August.
