Savannah’s extra acts
SAVANNAH in the Round has unveiled a third wave of artists for its 2026 festival, adding 20 more acts to the line-up ahead of the event’s return to the Mareeba Rodeo Grounds from 8-11 October.

The latest announcement includes Kingswood, Clayton Mullen (USA), Willie J’s 6V6s, Riff Raff AC/DC Show, Lontano, Julian James & The Moonshine State, David Flower & Friends, HER, Whitt’s End, The Stone Kings, Tessa Devine & Tullara, Candice Bliss, Enemy of Anemone, Djawarray, Kyla Belle, Three Fires featuring Jungaji, Radical Son & Candice Lorrae, Tinderbox, Funhouse, Beci Kate and 3’s A Crowd.
The new additions join an existing line-up featuring Don McLean, Icehouse, Tyler Braden, Lee Kernaghan, Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers, Hindley Street Country Club, Chocolate Starfish, Mental As Anything, Dragon, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Busby Marou and GangGajang.
Festival director and chief executive officer of Sound Australia James Dein said the latest announcement reflected the festival’s focus on showcasing both established performers and emerging Australian country artists. “We believe we have assembled the strongest line-up of new and emerging Australian country artists at any festival in Australia,” Mr Dein said.
“These are the artists fighting it out on stages across Australia right now. They are writing great songs and building their following.
“Savannah has always been about giving people the chance to discover those artists while also seeing some of the biggest names in the business.”
Mr Dein said organisers were continuing to work on the program ahead of the festival.
“The program is shaping up as our biggest and most diverse yet, but we are still working behind the scenes,” he said, with possibly one surprise announcement.
