Sail into The Reef Hotel Casino for Yacht Rock Revival
YACHT Rock Revival returns to The Reef Hotel Casino for three nights of live music at Bar36 from 20-22 February.
The band will perform as part of the ‘LIVE@THECASINO – Playing Bar36’ series during the ‘Celebrations at Full Sail – 30 Knots Tour’.
Shows will be held on Friday 20 February and Saturday 21 February from 9pm, with a special early performance on Sunday 22 February from 5.30pm. The event is non-ticketed.
Promoted as “The music that moved a generation”, Yacht Rock Revival will bring together well-known hits from Hall and Oates, Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers, along with tracks from Boz Scaggs, Toto and the Bee Gees.
The group pays homage to what is described as “the velvet sounds of the mid 70s to early 80s”, including music associated with Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross and Pablo Cruise.
Event organisers say the performances will feature “all the anthems you know and love” and invite audiences to “Sail on the waves of sound for three huge nights with this special comeback performance of the best of Yacht Rock.”
The February shows form part of the casino’s broader 30-year anniversary program, which continues throughout the year.
Yacht Rock Revival will perform at Bar36 at The Reef Hotel Casino from 20–22 February, with free entry for patrons across all three nights.
