Road trip to Ellis Beach

ELLIS Beach Bar and Grill goes full toe-tapping country on 9 May, when The Roadtrippers, Luke O’Shea and Big Pups bring their music to the coastal stage.

Set against the backdrop of palm trees and the Coral Sea, the Ellis Beach Country Rocks Fest is set to be the perfect autumn Saturday with cold drinks, salty air and some fine country and roots artists on show.

Headlining the night will be Far North Queensland’s own The Roadtrippers with their soundtrack to northern Australia steeped in red dirt and outback stories from the Top End.

They will be joined by Luke O’Shea, a multiple Golden Guitar winner known for powerful songs that “sing up country” and celebrate the people and places of regional Australia.

Opening the night is a FNQ favourite Big Pups, delivering foot-stomping, big-hearted originals and sing-along covers that get the whole crowd moving.
