Restrictions on Council facilities and venues
RESTRICTIONS for Council facilities will change from December 17, in line with the State Government’s health mandate.

PEOPLE are also reminded that they are required to use the Checkin Qld app when visiting Council venues.
THESE are the vaccination requirements for Council facilities:
BARLOW Park: No vaccination required for casual events; for events the organisers must implement appropriate requirements in line with Queensland Health restrictions
Botanic Gardens (including Watkins Munro Martin Conservatory): No vaccination requirements, however Queensland Health requirements apply at the cafe
Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre: No vaccination requirements, however Queensland Health requirements apply at the cafe
Cairns Libraries: No vaccination requirements Cairns Performing Arts Centre: Patrons must be fully vaccinated
Campgrounds: No vaccination requirements
Community Halls: Organisers must implement appropriate requirements in line with Queensland Health restrictions
Court House Gallery: Patrons must be fully vaccinated
Council Customer Service Centres: No vaccination requirements
AdvertisementMunro Martin Parklands: No vaccination requirements; patrons must be fully vaccinated for ticketed events
Public open spaces and facilities such as playgrounds, fitness equipment, Esplanade lagoon, skatepark: No vaccination requirements, but Queensland Health requirements apply at venue/facility cafes
Public swimming pools: No vaccination requirements
Sugarworld Adventure Park: Patrons must be fully vaccinated
Tanks Art Centre (Tank 4 gallery and Tank 5 concert venue): Patrons must be fully vaccinated Waste Transfer Stations: No vaccination requirements
Weddings at Council facilities (including beaches and parks): If all participants are fully vaccinated no restrictions, if any participant not fully vaccinated limit of 20 people
Funerals: If all participants fully vaccinated there are no restrictions; if any participant is not fully vaccinated there is a limit of 20 people.
