The Cairns-based collective will present ‘The Cosmic Dub Sessions’ from 7pm, promising an immersive live music experience inspired by classic sound system culture and modern cosmic dub influences.

According to the band, the performance will feature deep dub reggae, psychedelic roots music, live improvisation, tribal rhythms and heavyweight basslines, alongside conscious world-music influences.

EarthKin said audiences could expect “deep grooves, conscious lyrics, tribal percussion, echo-drenched dub textures and immersive vibrations crafted to awaken the dancefloor and nourish the soul”.

The group (above) describes The Cosmic Dub Sessions as more than a concert, calling it “a ritual of connection, uplifting, meditative and deeply grounding”.

EarthKin blends reggae, dub, funk and world music through live improvisation, vocals, atmospheric effects and saxophone melodies. The band said its performances are driven by unity, culture and the spirit of sound system tradition.

At the heart of the performance is EarthKin’s message of unity: “One Earth, One People and One Love”.

The event forms part of EarthKin’s ongoing mission to create spaces where “dancefloor energy meets meditative frequency”, bringing together music, culture and community through a shared live experience.
