The Pride have recorded two wins, two losses and a draw so far this season, keeping them in contention as the competition begins to take shape.

Head coach Sam Williams said the team remained on track despite a narrow defeat in their last outing.

“We are still tracking well, with a loss last week of only two points against the Falcons, who are sitting top of the table, I am comfortable with where the team are heading on the field,” he said.

“We have some work to do this week facing off against fourth on the table Redcliffe Dolphins.”

The clash with the Dolphins, who sit fourth, will be broadcast live on 9Now at 2.10pm on Sunday.

In the BMD program, head coach Colin Wilkie said the squad had continued to develop, with new players integrating into the group.

“The squad has welcomed some new faces who have fitted in nicely with the returning players,” he said.

Mr Wilkie also noted several players would be absent due to representative duties.

“Several of our squad have headed off to Gladston to represent Peninsular in the state championships. We are looking forward to watching their games on the live feed.”

The Pride will look to build momentum with a strong performance against Redcliffe as the season progresses, while the BMD squad continues to balance development with representative commitments.
