The exhibitions are led by ‘Of This Earth: Transforming Culture and Country Through First Nations Ceramics’, running until 14 June 2026 in the Public Curators Building. The exhibition features work from First Nations ceramicists from the National Gallery Collection, including Thancoupie (Dhaynagwidh/Thaynakwith people) and Billy Bain (Dharug people).

Other exhibitions include ‘Captured: Photography from the Collection’, showcasing works that explore people and places of the region and ‘Ron McBurnie: The Artist Studio’, which features etchings of artists in their studios alongside works by the artists themselves. Both run until June.

‘Zanny Begg: These Stories Will Be Different’ continues until 23 May in the Mulgrave Building, bringing together film installations including ‘The Beehive’, which produces 1334 possible variations. Meanwhile, the Flying Arts Alliance Queensland Regional Art Awards 2025 exhibition is on show until 2 May in the Court House Building.
