Crowe joins the club after more than four years as general manager of NRL Northern Territory, having previously served as operations and pathways manager at NRL Western Australia.

His appointment comes as Northern Pride prepares for the 2027 season, with a focus on strengthening football pathways, community engagement and commercial partnerships.

During his time in the Northern Territory, Crowe contributed to increased participation, government and commercial partnerships, and expanded rugby league opportunities in regional and remote communities.

Crowe, who previously worked with the Mackay Cutters, said he was looking forward to returning to a club.

“The Northern Pride has a proud history, strong community connections and an important role in developing rugby league talent and creating opportunities across Far North Queensland.

“Throughout my career, I’ve always believed that strong clubs are built through their people. As I often say, it takes a village to raise a child. In rugby league, it takes a community to build a club.”

Northern Pride chairwoman Kym McPhee-Smith welcomed Crowe’s appointment, noting his experience in rugby league.
