Mixed season for Muddies
WITH the Cricket Far North season now officially past the halfway point, every game going forward is ultra important for teams making a finals push.

The Muddies third grade side is in a good position to make a late season and finals push while the fourth grade side is hoping to put a few positive results on the board and finish their season on a high.
With the first ball of the season being bowled back in September, the Muddies played 13 rounds before the Christmas and New Year’s break.
The third grade Muddies to date have had a consistent season with an overall record of 6-5, finding themselves fifth on the ladder but only one win from fourth spot that would land them a finals berth.
The fourth grade has had a season to forget to date, after 13 rounds the boys went 1-10 and currently sit last on the ladder.
The Muddies squad have had some games and results they’d like to forget but like the third grade team, have had some games that were within reach but were unable to capitalise and come away with the win.
Despite the rocky start to the season the squad is looking to finish the home stretch better than they started and walk away with some bragging rights to wrap up the 2025/26 season.
