Minnie with Little Quirks
INDIE-FOLK act Little Quirks and blues-rock performer Minnie Marks will return to Cairns for a live show at Tanks Arts Centre on Saturday 30 May, with tickets now on sale for the Tank 5 performance.
The two acts will perform at Tank 5 with support from Robert Cini.
Both artists return to Cairns after previous appearances at Cairns Festival, with Little Quirks supporting The Cat Empire and Minnie Marks performing on the Esplanade Main Stage.
Little Quirks have been described by Under the Radar Magazine as “near flawless” following a performance at Bluesfest 2024.
The band is known for its indie-folk sound, layered harmonies and energetic live performances.
“Little Quirks are a force of nature,” the promoters said.
“Lifelong collaborators with a near-telepathic musical connection, they deliver a live show that hits hard and lingers long after the final note.”
Minnie Marks has also built a reputation for high-energy live performances and multi-instrumental musicianship.
Musician Carl Verheyen from Supertramp described one of her performances as “one of the most amazing shows of our lives.”
The promoters described Marks as a “singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist” known for pushing musical boundaries with guitar-driven performances and powerful vocals.
The concert adds another live music event to the Tanks Arts Centre calendar, with organisers encouraging audiences to secure tickets ahead of this month’s performance.
