Marlin Coast Rangers on top after 7-1 victory
MARLIN Coast Rangers sealed the FQPL men’s league title in emphatic style on Saturday night, thrashing Redlynch Strikers United 7–1 at Pennell Field.

Golden boot leader Josh Pin led the way with a hat-trick, while Crios O’Hare, Cooper Kennedy, Samuel Humphries and James Corrigan also found the net in a dominant display.
The result confirmed Rangers as champions with three games still to play, extending their unbeaten league run this season to 18 matches – winning 17 of them.
The victory means they have successfully defended the title they claimed in 2024, when they went on to secure an historic treble.
With silverware already in the cabinet, attention now turns to chasing more honours.
Marlin Coast remains firmly on course for another treble, with a FQPL Champions League Regional Final showdown against Gladstone’s Clinton FC looming on August 30.
