Ms Lennox, employed by McDonald’s Licensee, Jason Berther, is one of two Australians to receive the McDonald’s’ global Three-Legged Stool award.

This award is designed to recognise outstanding employees across McDonald’s’ three ‘legs’, the McDonald’s company, its franchisees and suppliers.

Ms Lennox freely offers her time and skills to organise many fundraising events benefitting the Charity.

Recently, Ms Lennox helped raise a staggering $256,000 for the Charity fundraiser, ‘Ride to the Cape’, funding over 1,560 nights’ accommodation for families in need, making it the most successful single fundraising event in RMHC North Australia’s history.

Ms Lennox said she was incredibly honoured to have her efforts recognised at the global level.

“I am totally surprised and delighted to have been chosen as this year’s recipient of the Three- Legged Stool Award,” she said.

“I have been volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia for the past 12 years. I first became involved in the Charity and made aware of the great work they do when I used the facility with my son back in 2007.”

RMHC North Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Tamara South, said she could not be prouder.

“Jill has shown endless support for RMHC North Australia over the years, from her tireless fundraising and awareness efforts to her significant involvement in the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat program in Palm Cove,” Ms South said.

“I could not be prouder that her unwavering dedication to supporting sick kids and their families has been recognised at the international level.”

Ms Lennox will be honoured with a $1,000 donation to RMHC North Australia, along with recognition at the McDonalds’ 2022 Worldwide Convention in Orlando, Florida, in April.
