Mr Knuth has been the Member for Hill for the past three years and has worked with the community securing a number of wins but said there was still more to achieve.

He said it was becoming clear that both major parties are not going to win in their own right which places the KAP in a very strong position.

Mr Knuth said he was committed to working with the community to get better outcomes.

“We have proven that we not only talk the talk but walk the walk with the now completion of stage one of the Atherton Hospital upgrade, the Tully grandstand, the new Dimbulah Health Centre, road upgrades, receiving funding to reinforce the river wall of the Innisfail Bowls Club, the East Feluga Intersection and the near completion of the Mission Boating Infrastructure Project,”

Mr Knuth said. “I have a vision of continuing to progress even more projects in the future if re-elected this includes protecting our dairy industry, realistic and improved water infrastructure such as the North Johnstone Transfer, and I will not give up on the Tully Millstream Hydro Electro Scheme and supporting the sugar cane industry with cogeneration.”

Mr Knuth has represented three different electorate, Charters Towers, Dalrymple and now Hill.
