Public nuisance, Innisfail
Police have charged a local woman after an incident in Innisfail on Wednesday afternoon (September 30).
It will be alleged that the woman had been in Edith Street at about 2.30pm, yelling and swearing at another woman known to her.
It is also alleged that when the woman was arrested, she made threats against police before assaulting an officer.
Police will further allege that on September 23, the woman has punched an employee of a licensed premises in the head, and grabbed the woman around the throat, leaving scratch marks.
A 34-year-old woman will appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court later today charged with commit public nuisance, obstruct police, assault police, assault occasioning bodily harm, contravene direction and breach of bail.
