The Combined Honours and Awards Ceremony is a triple celebration recognising the achievements across Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES), QPS and the Australian Federal Police (AFP).

Across the three agencies, multiple medals, clasps and certificates were presented to award recipients for their hard work and dedication to serving their communities.

QPS Deputy Commissioner Paul Taylor said the awards ceremony was a chance to celebrate the hard work and dedication of QPS officers.

“We are proud of the 20 QPS officers as well as our Far North District Forensic Services Group who were recognised today for their outstanding service to the community,” Deputy Commissioner Paul Taylor said.

“It is an honour to have those recognised represent the Queensland Police Service as they continue to serve the community in what can sometimes be a challenging environment.”
