Last minute show to Love
HAWAIIAN singer-songwriter Mike Love will make his Cairns debut with an intimate, one-night-only performance at Elixir Music House on Sunday 1 November.

Only 100 tickets are available for the last-minute headline show at the Abbott Street venue, which will feature a full-length solo set.
The performance follows Love’s national Australian tour supporting New Zealand reggae band Katchafire, offering local audiences the chance to experience his distinctive one-man-band approach in a smaller setting.
Known for his intricate live-looping techniques, Love creates layered musical arrangements using guitar, ukulele, bass, percussion, harmonica and vocal harmonies.
Rather than relying on pre-recorded backing tracks, he builds each performance live, layering multiple instruments and vocals to create a full-band sound.
The independent musician has spent almost two decades building an international following, blending reggae, folk, rock, blues and soul.
His music explores themes of unity, resilience, environmental awareness and personal transformation.
Mr Love has toured extensively across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America, earning a reputation for energetic live performances and audience engagement.
His song ‘Permanent holiday’ has attracted more than 40 million views on YouTube, helping introduce his music to audiences worldwide.
The Cairns appearance comes as Love continues work on a three-part album project that began with ‘Leaders’ in 2024.
The second instalment, ‘Teachers’, was released in 2025, with the final chapter, ‘Healers’, yet to be released.
The show takes place at Elixir Music House, 92 Abbott Street, Cairns, on Sunday 1 November, with doors opening at 4pm.
With capacity limited to 100 tickets, bookings are available through Humanitix at: www.cnslocal.s.gy/ARyaAc
