Known for his TikTok clips that have racked up over 10 million views, Mr Jiang combines comedy, audience participation and confidence coaching in a show that’s as hilarious as it is thought-provoking.

“I love watching people’s comments online,” Mr Jiang said. “Some are funny, some are real, but mostly they remind me of where people are asking, ‘When do you come to South Africa? When do you come to Chicago?’ It just makes me feel good.”

Mr Jiang’s background as a confidence coach shapes every aspect of his live shows. “I help people change their limiting beliefs,” he explains.

“Your belief is not a truth. When you believe something, you make it true. If you believe you’re not good enough, you make yourself not good enough. Hypnosis proves that belief is powerful, and sometimes, hilarious.”

Audience participation is entirely voluntary, but the results are unforgettable. Mr Jiang demonstrates how a simple suggestion can change perception: a volunteer might try to lift a “heavy” phone on stage, struggling, pushing, even getting frustrated, until Mr Jiang’s guidance shows them that belief, not strength, was holding them back.

“The funniest moments happen when people surprise themselves,” Mr Jiang says. “In New Zealand, a young lady needed to leave for the toilet mid-show. When she came back, she fell onto the stage, safely and elegantly, and the audience erupted laughing. Hypnosis can be playful, safe and fun.”

Mr Jiang says Cairns was a natural stop on his Australian tour. “I wanted a venue that could accommodate the audience and CDJE Hall worked perfectly,” he says.

For those nervous about volunteering, Mr Jiang offers simple advice: “Stop worrying. Worrying only takes time away from experiencing life. Just try it, your mind is more powerful than you think.”

The show promises laughter, amazement and a reminder that “any belief not supporting your goal needs to change,” he says.
