It’s one and all at Brothers rugby league club

WHAT began with just 10 participants in 2020 has grown into one of the most inspiring parts of Brothers Cairns RLFC, with up to 40 players now taking the field each week as part of the club’s ‘All-Abilities’ program.

The program’s presentation night was a special opportunity to celebrate not only the players and their achievements, but the friendships, confidence and sense of belonging that have grown alongside the team.

For the players, the program is about so much more than rugby league.

It is about being part of a team, making new friends, building confidence and having the opportunity to enjoy the game in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Over the years, the All-Abilities program has continued to grow, creating more opportunities for players of all abilities to get involved and experience the joy of pulling on a jersey and taking the field.

Brothers Cairns RLFC said this year had brought even more opportunities for the group to play, with the club already looking forward to what 2027 might bring.

“From 10 participants in 2020 to a thriving community of up to 40 players each week, our All-Abilities program has become a special part of Brothers Cairns RLFC,” the club said.

The presentation night recognised everyone who has helped the program come together.
