The two-day motoring event returns to the Cairns Showgrounds on 17-18 October 2026, with vehicle displays, entertainment and a charity auction.

Among the special items announced for this year’s auction is a framed Mike Tinney Racing memorabilia display, donated by the Tinney family.

Carol, Bryce and Corey Tinney have contributed to the display in memory of well-known Cairns drag racer Michael “Tinman” Tinney, who died in 2007 after a battle with cancer. The display features Michael’s racing shirt and memorabilia celebrating his involvement in Australian drag racing.

Alongside the fundraising, visitors can expect a weekend of motoring entertainment, including Show ‘n’ Shine vehicles, dyno action, go-to-whoa competitions, special car unveilings and trade displays.
