Honouring small business

THE Cassowary Coast is celebrating Queensland Small Business Month in May with a full calendar of workshops, networking events, expert mentoring and digital training opportunities tailored for local small business owners, operators and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Cr Renee McLeod, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism, said the month presented a fantastic opportunity to shine a light on the strength and potential of local business.

“Our small businesses are the heartbeat of the Cassowary Coast,” she said.

“Queensland Small Business Month is a great chance for our businesses to access expert support, build skills, share stories and make meaningful connections that can help them thrive. We’re proud to bring these opportunities to our local communities this May.”

  • NBN Regional Tech Hub Roadshow across the Cassowary Coast

  • Winning tenders and capability statement sessions

  • Face-to-face training in Tully, Cardwell, Mission Beach and Innisfail
