Holiday thrills for Val
A REGULAR shopper at Redlynch Central shopping centre has won a $5000 travel voucher during the centre’s milestone 21st birthday celebrations.
Valerie Still is now planning a trip to New Zealand or Fiji.
“I was on a cruise in Croatia (when she was told she had won) and I said ‘Is this for real?’,” she said.
“We have done a couple of cruises and we’ve booked them through Jenny at Endeavour Travel in the centre.
“I’ll go into Endeavour and have a chat about where to go – I’ve always wanted to go to New Zealand, but Fiji is also a possibility.”
Ms Still has lived in Redlynch for nearly eight years and frequents the shopping centre.
“I always shop there,” she said.
“I shop at Coles, I go to the hairdressers, I use the travel agent.
“A couple of days before my trip, I went in to get my hair cut at Artistry of Hair and my hairdresser encouraged me to scan my receipt for a chance to win the travel voucher.”
“It’s really exciting and I’m so pleased to have won.”
Centre owners’ representative Charlie Marino said the 21st birthday was a wonderful milestone. “It’s all thanks to the incredible community that has supported us every step of the way,” he said.
