This year’s riders include

• Nick Dametto MP, State Member for Hinchinbrook.

• Archie Arenson, Power 100 Breakfast Radio Presenter.

• Jonty Collins-Furber, Machinery Operator Morton’s Earthmoving.

• Alana Romano, Komatsu 3rd Year Apprentice.

With just a few days until the event, the riders had reached just over $3,000 of their $4,000 goal and Mr Dametto thanked the community for their generosity and support.

“Each year, I ride in honour of Judy Reardon who tragically passed away in a car accident on the Bruce Highway back in 2019,” Mr Dametto said.

“Judy was heavily involved with Audrey’s Angels of Hope which relies on donations to support cancer patients and their families.”

Charity Bull Ride Organiser, Monique Giliberto said that when the Charity Bull Ride commenced in 2019, she never expected it would grow into an event of such magnitude.

“The Charity Bull ride is the perfect example of how important helping others is to our community and turning it into a competition makes it that extra bit fun,” Ms Giliberto said.

To donate to this year’s Charity Bull Ride, please visit the GoFundMe page https://gofund.me/4f444a15

The total amount of donations will be split equally, and each rider will donate their share to a charity of their choice.
