Go online with Cassowary Coast libraries online
Cassowary Coast Libraries have an array of great online resources available to all our residents, perfect for those in isolation or who unable to get into a local branch.
Late last year, the Library’s team re-launched their online presence to create a site and mobile platform that are accessible for the whole community. Our online collection includes eBooks, e-audiobooks and e-magazines from a number of great resources including Libby, Borrow Box and National Geographic.
An exciting new feature of this website is the Heritage Collection at your fingertips: from 1890s photos of bullock teams, through images of the devastation wreaked on the streets of Innisfail by the 1918 cyclone, to the 1940s image of a timbergetters’ camp at the North Murray River, historical images and documents from our region are yours to explore online!
Whether you are new to the area or visit our library branches frequently, we encourage you to get online and explore our amazing offerings. And if you aren’t already a member, join the Cassowary Coast Libraries today: it is as simple as filling out an online form.

You can scan the barcode at the back of any book to check if it is available in our collection, or use the app to display your Borrower Number instead of carrying a card.
