Get into the mood with swinging base electro outfit
BRISBANE/MEANJIN-based electronic outfit Mood Swing & Chevy Bass will bring their genre-bending live show to the Tanks Arts Centre tonight, with DJ Just Andy supporting.

The group will perform from 7.15pm on 2 October, bringing a mix of bass, funk, disco and house to the Cairns stage.
Known for live performances that blend electronic music with theatrical elements, Mood Swing & Chevy Bass build their shows in the moment, layering sounds and instruments to create a distinct experience for each performance.
Their sets typically begin with groove-heavy tracks, then move into deeper basslines and the group is described as masters of the live remix.
The pair also incorporate a range of instruments into their performances, including keytars, samplers, tribal percussion and horns.
Their stage show combines these musical elements with a theatrical approach to turn the performance into more than a conventional electronic set.
The Brisbane/Meanjin outfit has built a reputation as a festival act, with performances centred on audience participation and an energetic blend of electronic styles.
Online tickets are $39, while tickets at the door are $45, with all fees included. Ticketlink is the only authorised ticket seller for events at the Tanks Arts Centre.
The performance gives Cairns audiences the chance to see Mood Swing & Chevy Bass bring their blend of live remixing, instrumentation and electronic music to the Tanks stage, with DJ Just Andy opening the night.
