Festival aims to socialise
CAIRNS is back on the map for national music festivals with a new music and arts event taking over the showgrounds in October.

Tickets are now on sale for Be Social Fest 2025, which makes its debut on Saturday, October 25, with headline acts Matt Corby and Bliss N Eso leading the charge.
The “all-ages, all-vibes celebration of music, moments and connection” will also include an exciting lineup of international and national acts, including Baauer (USA), Petit Biscuit (France) with a new album, Sneaky Sound System, Boo Seeka, Crooked Colours, Karnivool, Ocean Sleeper, Mashd N Kutcher (DJ Set), Ruby Fields and many more.
“With live music and events topping the wish lists of Far North Queensland locals, the Be Social Fest answers the call and is set to strike a chord with people of all ages,” festival director Michael Delaney said.
“Be Social Fest, as the name implies, is more than just music – it’s about celebrating connection, energy and expression.”
It will be held on October 25, from 1pm to 10pm at Cairns Showgrounds.
