Polocrosse, a unique blend of polo and lacrosse played on horseback, will take centre stage as players of all ages and skill levels battle it out for over $3000 in cash prizes.

With open, junior and mini junior divisions on offer, spectators can expect speed, skill and teamwork in every game.

Hosted at Redbank Road in Gordonvale, this will be the final polocrosse carnival held at the club for the year and organisers are encouraging locals to come down and enjoy the action.

Games begin at 9am Saturday and 8am Sunday, with live entertainment on Friday night and a fully stocked bar and canteen open all weekend.

Entry is free for all spectators and free camping is available (no powered sites). Player nominations have closed.

The Norweld Cup is supported by major sponsor Norweld and silver sponsors Russo and Vella Machinery, GATA Plastering, The Industry Estate Agents, Wedrat Chartered Accountants and Spillers Quality Corrosion Control.

All A and B grade games will have two umpires and strict safety rules will be enforced in line with Polocrosse Association of Australia guidelines. Dogs and glass bottles are not permitted on the grounds.
