The 8 x ARIA award-winner performed two concerts to a full house as part of the Cairns Summer Sounds series of live music weekends in Cairns during February.

Minjil was launched last week by owner and Artistic Director Carl Fourmile, a Yidinji man from the land of Gimuy in the Cairns and Great Barrier Reef region.

An ambassador for local culture with strong roots in dance, lore and education, Fourmile founded Minjil to provide cultural enrichment services including dance performances, educational presentations and corporate cultural awareness tours.
