Crocs still dominate AFL Cairns competition
PORT Douglas Crocs have reinforced their status as one of the competition’s form teams after producing a dominant fortnight across both reserve grade and senior football.

The senior side produced back-to-back wins in commanding fashion.
Round 8 saw the Crocs dismantle the Lions 182-49 in one of the most dominant performances of the season.
Port Douglas moved the ball with precision and efficiency, creating scoring opportunities at will while maintaining strong defensive pressure around the ground.
Max Hemphill starred in the victory, finishing with six goals as he proved a constant threat inside the attacking arc. His accuracy in front of goal helped the Crocs build an insurmountable lead and complete a comprehensive win.
The momentum continued in round 9 as Port Douglas accounted for the Bulldogs, 98-59.
While the Bulldogs offered greater resistance, the Crocs remained in control throughout the contest to secure another comfortable victory.
Hemphill again played a key role, booting three goals to lead the senior side’s attack against Bulldogs.
The reserves opened round 8 with a devastating display against the Lions, recording a massive 122-7 victory in the reserves.
Port Douglas controlled the contest from start to finish, piling on goals while restricting their opponents to just a single major score.
Leading the way were Kobe Saxon and Kallum Oates, who each finished with four goals in a standout offensive performance.
Their ability to find space inside the forward 50 proved instrumental as the Crocs overwhelmed the Lions with relentless attacking pressure.
The following week brought a much sterner challenge, but the Crocs again found a way to get the job done.
In round 9, Port Douglas defeated the Bulldogs 46-35 in a hard-fought encounter.
While not as free-scoring as the previous week’s win, the Crocs showed composure and determination to secure another important victory and continue their strong run of form.
With four wins from four matches across the past fortnight, the Crocs have built significant momentum and continue to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with as the season enters a crucial stage.
