Crocs men’s sides in semis
THE Crocs have endured a mixed weekend of finals action, with their women’s campaign coming to an end, the reserves booking their place in the 2026 grand final and the senior side left fighting for their season after a nail-biting qualifying final.

The women’s team were unable to overcome Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs, suffering a 67-14 defeat in their elimination final.
While the women’s campaign may be over, the reserves have plenty to celebrate after producing an outstanding offensive display to secure a commanding 97-48 victory.
The win books the reserves a place in the 2026 grand final, giving the Crocs an opportunity to finish their season with premiership silverware.
Attention now turns to the senior side, who were left heartbroken after falling to the South Cairns Cutters 67-64 in a thrilling qualifying final.
With just three points separating the two sides at the final siren, the Crocs will have little time to dwell on the defeat as they prepare for their next chance at grand-final qualification.
Standing in their way will be a familiar opponent in the Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs.
Despite the disappointment of the loss to South Cairns, the Crocs can take confidence into the clash knowing they are yet to lose to the Bulldogs this season.
That record will provide plenty of belief as the Crocs look to bounce back when it matters most.
The upcoming clash carries enormous stakes, with the winner securing the final spot in this year’s grand final and the loser seeing their season come to an end.
