The club will bring the local business community together for a fun-filled afternoon on Friday 23 October, with the event raising vital funds for COUCH Cancer Hub, a charity supporting people impacted by cancer across Far North Queensland.

Guests are invited to arrive from 12pm, with play from 1pm. Teams of four can register for $440, which includes lunch and dinner.

The afternoon will feature best dressed prizes and a special dinner offer for those who register in advance (bookings essential).

COUCH has been selected as the event’s charity partner, with funds raised to support the work the organisation does for those in the community whose lives are impacted by cancer.

Bowls club manager Lawrence Green said the club was excited to be hosting its first Crackerjack Corporate Bowlo Competition.

“This is a wonderful chance to bring the Cairns business community together for a fun-filled afternoon and we couldn’t be prouder to have COUCH on board as our charity partner,” he said.

“It’s going to be a great day on the green – we’re looking forward to having Cairns businesses roll up and show their support for this wonderful cause.”
