Cowboys to reveal city plans
ADVANCE Cairns is hosting a breakfast where North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will outline their plans for Cairns.

The Cowboys are planning a proposed Cairns Community, Development and High-Performance Centre at West Barlow Park and the transformation of the Cape York Hotel into a new Cowboys Leagues Club.
An Advance Cairns spokeswoman said “together, these projects represent a once-in-a-generation investment designed to deliver lasting sporting, social and economic benefits while strengthening the club’s partnership with this region”.
“At this exclusive business breakfast, Cowboys chairman Lewis Ramsay and CEO Jeff Reibel will provide an inside look at the scale, purpose and impact of these developments,” she said.
“From elite training pathways for local athletes and expanded community programs, to job creation, social outcomes and new investment in the Cairns economy, these initiatives position Cairns as a vital northern hub for the Club.
“After 18 months of consultation with government, sporting, and community stakeholders, the Cowboys are now inviting the broader business community to join the conversation.”
The breakfast is on Wednesday 8 October at 7am-9am at the Hilton Cairns hotel. The cost is $40 members and $50 non-members.
