Makin' Whoopee Brings Its Makers' Markets to Bailey
Makin' Whoopee and Bailey, a Crystalbrook Collection Hotel and Residence, join forces to present the Christmas Makers’ Market: A showcase of local artisans’ talent and products in the lobby at Cairns' art-inspired hotel on Saturday 5 December from 9:00am – 2:00pm.
The Cairns community are invited to come and soak up the colour and the character, the smells and the sounds and immerse in the excitement at Bailey this weekend.
Makin’ Whoopee Makers’ Markets organisers, Fany Saumure, Kirsty Mulley and Tracey Horn, have hand-picked the best artisans from around the region to curate a Christmas-themed market featuring 19 stallholders specialising in jewellery, candles, flowers, artwork and much more.
“We're very excited to be holding this event at last and see our Makers' Markets as an extension of our shop, which presents high quality art and design-based products from our region,” says Kirsty Mulley, owner Makin’ Whoopee.
Market goers can expect to find hidden treasures scattered throughout the Bailey lobby including hand-made jewellery designed by Kate Hunter, Hayley Gillespie’s locally created artwork, fashion accessories from Lana.
Nas Studio and the warm scents of Blue Bird candles. Refreshments will be available on the day including coffee, light bites or something sweet from Donut Joint and Feather Candy food vendors.
