Life Long Dog Tags
As of July 2022, all dogs registered with the Cassowary Coast Regional Council will receive one ‘life-long’ dog tag.
Previously dog owners received a new tag each year as part of the annual dog registration process.
Dog owners will still receive an annual invoice to renew dog registrations.
To ensure you get your new life-long dog tag – please contact Council to update your dog’s details including postal address.
If a ‘life-long’ dog tag is lost, stolen or damaged, dog owners can request a replacement tag via Council’s online service portal, calling customer service or visiting one of Council’s Customer Service Centres. This initiative is part of Councils commitment to reducing waste to landfill.
