Carols and laughter for Mossman Yoga Group

Members of the Mossman branch of the Port Douglas Yoga Group celebrated Christmas this week at the High Falls Restaurant in Whyanbeel.

Thirty very active and energetic members enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of food, laughter and carols to celebrate a year of COVID challenges.

Entertainment on the day was provided by Cairns crooner, Chris Lloyds.

Port Douglas Yoga group has been operating since 1989 and provide  yoga guidance to over 70 locals on a weekly basis.

Raffles were held on the day, raising over $400 to assist in the funding of a disabled children’s school in Kodaikanal  in Southern India. This year the combined fundraising has contributed over $3500 to the school and over $15,000 in the past 8 years.
